Answers
The I LumoS Half USB Modules are 1 Amp and the I LumoS Full Modules are 3.1 Amp. The USB terminals in the I LumoS AS Multi Plug with the USB Sockets are 2 Amp
he USB Sockets do not require an earth cable. Only Live and Neutral are required. The USB Sockets are mains operated, 110V - 240V AC.
All 2 Amp and 3.1 Amp USB modules can charge both Mobile phones and Tablets. The Half 1 Amp modules can charge Mobile phones only. The 2 Amp and 3.1 Amp USB Sockets offer Fast Charging when used together with a Fast Charging Cable.
Single Sockets are wired as normal. Double, Triple and Quadruple Sockets require looping from one module to another in order to operate all Modules. All Live, Neutral and Earth terminals require a loop.
The Wi-Fi PRO Sockets work directly with your Router to operate the Sockets using your Phone or Tablet from anywhere in the world. The App provides feedback to show the state of the Socket so that you know exactly when your sockets are on or off. The socket also comes with a switch to manually turn your socket on and off.
6.Are the RF sockets compatible with the Broadlink?
The RF Sockets are compatible with the Broadlink and together with the app they can be controlled on a Phone or Tablet. All RF Sockets include a Remote Control.
We do not recommend the use of any I LumoS Socket to be used in a bathroom.
The Only difference between an Unswitched and Switched Socket is that the Unswitched Socket does not have a switch to turn the socket on and off. The choice comes down to a need of a switch on the socket as well as aesthetic requirements.
The Unswitched sockets are safe to use. We always recommend checking with your building regulations of switched sockets must be used. All I LumoS Sockets have a built in flap inside the socket which the plug needs to push through in order to make contact with the Live, Neutral and Earth terminals. This provides a safety feature on every socket to reduce any chance of a health risk.
We stock EU Size sockets and switches in all I LumoS products. All of our products are designed to work across Europe and our EU Sizes are designed to fit EU back boxes.
Please visit the Build Your Own Socket section to create your own socket with all of our available modules.
The depth of our switches and sockets depend on the product type and can vary between 15mm and 35mm. Please check individual products for the recommended back box size required.
In the event that there is a shallow back box in the wall spacers can be used to allow for an easier fitting.
To Install one of our Screwless Switches or Sockets you simply need to remove the panel or the frame, screw the part to the backbox and then clip the frame or panel back on.
All switches and sockets Protrude by 9mm. All our porducts are screwless and either the panel or frame is clipped on once the parts are screwed in. The Glass or aluminium is 4mm thick and is the main attraction of our switches and sockets.
Our 1 Gang and 2 Gang Switches and Sockets all fit into standard UK backboxes, please check the depth required. We do also have 2 Gang Switches and Sockets designed for EU Backboxes, this can be requested if required. The 3 Gang and 4 Gang Panels and Frames require 3 and 4 single metal backboxes respectively. The 3 Gang Panels and frames can also be installed with the triple backboxes sold on our website when they are being installed into plasterboard.
The 45A Switches are used for fixed appliances such as Cookers and Electric Hobs.

The Schuko Socket also know as the German Socket or Type F Socket is used across European Countries. The French Socket also known as the Type E Socket is used across France, Belgium and several African Countries. The main difference between the 2 sockets is the projecting earth pin of the French Socket. Please ensure that you order the correct Socket of your country.
The Multi Plug Sockets are designed to be used in any country around the world. These sockets have the advantage of being used with any type of plug and fit perfectly. Please note that these sockets can only work with the Voltage that is supplied and do not have a built in transformer. They are not able to regulate the Voltage. This means that if an appliance can only work with 110 V input, it cannot be used if the Multi Plug socket is installed in a Country with 220 V.
All I LumoS Multi Plug sockets are CE and ROHS certified and are safe to use. Please ensure that the correct guidelines are followed, please check with your local regulations if you have any questions or queries.
We do not stock 5 Amp Socket. However our 3 Pin Multi Plug Sockets can be used where are 5 Amp socket is required.
The Multi Plug sockets cannot be used as a Shaver Socket.
As the Wire-free Touch Switches work in the same way as the Remote Controls, they are compatible with the RF Socket and can be used to turn the sockets on and off.
